♡ Bodhi Root is a well received material in making mala beads, necklaces and bracelets. Semi translucent, high oil content, aged and turned reddish brownish from originally whitish, the beads when worn will turn deeper color and eventually reddish brown with hairline cracks on the surface over say 5 to 10 years. Both Tibetan and Chinese believe an aged Bodhi Root mala chain or bracelet is filled with blessings
